Records show that Raymond attended the New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois in 1937.

He enlisted in the military in 1942 at the age of 23. He was described as 5' 8", with slender build and single. In civilian life he had been an office machine operator

He served as a captain in the Air Force during World War II and Korea.

No evidence has been found so far that he was married or ever had children

Raymond died at the age of 72.
