CLARESSA HYATT BALDWIN
1843 - 1927
Clarissa was born about 1843 in Mammoth, Illinois.
The 1850 census has her living in Warren County illinois
when her age was approxiomately 6 years old. Her parents
were James W. Scott and Caroline Hyatt.
In 1865 at the approximate age of 21 she married George W. Baldwin.
In the 1870 census she was living in Mammoth, Illinois with
her husband and one child Nettie Baldwin.
In the 1880 census her husband George's occupation is listed as "Clerk in Hotel".
The 1910 census has her still in Warren, Illinois but widowed.
The 1920 census shows her at approximately 75 years old
and still in Warren.
A newspaper obituary announced her death on January 12,
1927 at age 83.
